(I posted this for a little while last week, but it caused some problems for my blog - who knows why - so I am reposting today.)
Allie is completing her last week of 6th grade this week, but Jack is already on summer break. Last Thursday after a laid-back-summer-day at home I decided to surprise the boys with a trip to our metroplex's new store. We picked Allie up from school, Corey called it a day a bit early, and we all headed east. The boys didn't know where we were going...
A little aside - If there was one toy that they could take to a deserted island, it would hands-down be Legos. They love them! They always have.
When we were almost to the mall where the new Lego store is located, Jack began putting the pieces of the puzzle together and realized where we might be going. He was so excited. When we arrived inside the mall, he pretty much ran to the store once he spotted it. It was so fun to watch him!

In the store, they have this wall of unusual Lego pieces that you can fill a container with. Filling his little container was Jack's favorite part of his visit to the store.

Both boys spent their budget and walked away happy... wanting to know when we can go back.

What a fun surprise outing Amy! I bet the boys were soooo excited! Glad they had it in their budget to get some new Legos to use their creative imaginations on. BTW... do you know of any specific things Cooper would want for his B-day?
What a fun outing!
