The week before Christmas was a little slower than usual for Corey's business, and we decided to take some time to do something "Christmasy" with the family. So, on the afternoon of the 22nd, we laoded up and headed to the Ft. Worth Stock Yards. Unbelievably, after living in the metroplex for 17 years, this was our first trip to the Stock Yards. It was really fun! We arrived a little late for some of the daily activities but fully intend to go back and enjoy them. While we we were there, we walked around and took in the pretty Christmas decorations and ate dinner at a delicious restaurant with a hilarious name.
I actually considered locking one of these three up in here as they whined incessantly that they were hungry. Good thing dinner time was close.

Delicious!
As always when we are out like this, we took some family photos. Unfortunately, the camera died before we finished our evening out, but here are a few of my favorite pictures:

When we left the Stock Yards, we headed to Sundance Square in Ft. Worth. It was decorated beautifully, as well. We enjoyed strolling through the square, riding a free trolly called Molly the Trolly (thanks for the tip Jami), going to Barnes & Noble/ Starbucks. While we were at Barnes & Noble, Cooper impressed me (again) with his desire to read.
