Catching Up November: NYC: Day 2 - The Financial District

When we left Ground Zero we walked to the Financial District. We made a pit stop at one of many 2 story McDonald's restaurants - this one had a grand piano in the second story window which the pianist had to climb a ladder to get to. Space constraints in NYC made several things very interesting. We did not do much in the Financial District beyond taking photos in front of some famous spots such as Wall St. and the New York Stock Exchange.

The flags were really beautiful!

This was near the statue of George Washington. I thought it was interesting to see art that showed that our country was indeed founded by praying men.

It was very shady and kind of dark in this part of town since the buildings were built so close together. I thought that they looked really cool.
~ love this church ~

Awesome! I love that church too; amazing architecture to say the least... and built without power tools I'm sure. The ways of God through men is breath-taking. His ways without any hands but His... mind-boggling.
