Catching Up November: NYC: Day 3 - The TODAY Show

On the morning of Day 3 in NYC we headed to the Today show to be one of those crazy people that stand out in the cold and watch the morning news casters through the window. Allie and I love all things celebrity, so we were excited to see TV people in real life.
~ Ann Curry, Al Roker, & Natalie Morales ~
This is what was shown on TV. We could see them and the whole set through the windows.

We had hoped to see some big, ol' famous person, and this is what we saw...
A Painting Dog!!!

The Today Show continues after its regular time slot with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Anyone that knew me in the early '90s knows that I loved Kathie Lee when she and Regis did that show together, so it was extra fun for me to see her. Here she is getting her make-up touched up before they went on the air.
Allie & I watching Kathie Lee & Hoda interview Alan Thicke. He was promoting a book called "How To Raise Kids Who Won't Hate You" which we thought was funny.
Corey sat by the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink and worked while we watched the Today Show.

They had changed the flags to all American Flags on this day which was just beautiful!
