Our Little Odysseus

Last week was Jack's festival at school.  His class did a play that included the highlights from Greek and Roman history.  Jack played the part of Odysseus from the Trojan Horse story.  It was so cute!!!  (My little boy in a costume... I could eat him up!)  After the play and some snacks, the kids had their own version of the Olympics where the daddies pushed the kids in wheel burrows for "chariot races", they threw swimming pool noodles for the "javelin throw", and they threw hula hoops for the "discus throw".  Of course everyone was awarded a medal.  It was a good day!

So cute! Looks like a fun day! You know, I didn't realize how much your boys look alike until I see Jack's serious face in his picture with you. They're like one in the same!

I love Jack's look with you. He seems ready to fight to the death for his mama! :-)

I don't think that there has ever been a more handsome Odysseus. I especially love the one of him hiding "in" the Trojan Horse.

Just So You Know...

Thanks for stopping by. I'm Amy, and I blog... or at leas I used to. I love my blog, but I have found it so hard to keep up with it in the last several months. It is something that I think about sitting down to do often, but don't ever find the time to follow through on. I am hopeful that I will find time to pick it up again at some point. For now, feel free to take a peek at whatever interests you from the past. I hope to write about current things again someday... For What It's Worth.

I am a thirty-something wife of 19 years to Corey and mom of 3 kiddos - Allie is 15, Jackson is 12, and Cooper is 6. I am blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mom. While at home, I homeschool my kids part-time while I do about a thousand other things. I love it and would not trade it for the world!
