Over a week after Verizon screwed up our Internet service, and after hours and hours (literally!!!) of Corey talking to people on the phone that are employed by Verizon, and after being stood up 2 different times while we waited all day for them to show up... we finally have Internet!!!
Oh Happy Day!
You should try to live in a computer-free world sometime. (And I am not talking about while you are lounging on a beach with a margarita and a magazine in hand!) It is hard... and not fun! Especially when you are moving and needing phone numbers for utility companies (and you don't even own a phone book BECAUSE you can find everything on the Internet), or when you are sleepless in a house full of sleeping people and can't turn on lights or TV, or when there is an every-other-day snow storm and you are used to checking the weather online, or when you need to check and see if your kids' school has closed due to the snow, or when your kids' teacher is sending correspondence regaurding homework via e-mail, or when your husband's COMPUTER BUSINESS (translated ~ income) is directly tied to having INTERNET service, or when your home phone service is provided through your Internet service.... the list could go on and on!
Anyway, we officially dislike Verizon, but we are glad to have our Internet service up and running again.
