Columbines

The state flower of Colorado is the Columbine. On this trip they captivated me more than on any trip before. Where we camped there were several types of wildflowers - although they were sparse. There were many Columbines, and I loved them!

These are beautiful pictures. I would love to have a print of one hanging in Claire's big girl room I think.

Amy, these are absolutely gorgeous photos! I loved that one especially with the columbines next to the Aspen tree. You should print it long and narrow and hang it with other pretty colorado pics. What a wonderful display of your photography it would make, plus a keepsake for your love of the mountains.
