Coop's First Blast Ball Game

~ Cooper, #3~
Saturday was Cooper's first Blast Ball game.  We were all so excited for the Big Day to arrive, but when we woke up Saturday morning it was cold and drizzling.  I was so worried that Cooper would be sad if the game was cancelled, but I certainly didn't like the thought of him having to play in the wet, cold either.  We loaded up and headed to the ballpark, unsure of what would happen when we arrived.  It continued to drizzle a bit and was pretty darn cold, but the game was played, and the joy he had from being on the field must have kept him warm.

For Blast Ball, each player stands on a carpet square while their team is in the outfield, so they will know where thier spot is supposed to be.

The Blast Ball base is placed by 1st base.  When the player gets to it, they jump on it and it makes an air-horn sound.

How lucky are my boys that their daddy loves to coach their teams!?!

Pretty sure this is the cutest sport ever. I was so glad that we could be there for the first game.

I was telling Elaine (in football)about "Blast Ball" and it just made both of us laugh. Too cute! Can hardly wait to watch a game and see Cooper living his dream.
