Yesterday I mentioned that my sister, Emily, had made a delicious snack for our Playgroup Christmas party. (Really - it was so very, very good!) She sent me the recipe last night, so I thought that I would share it for those of you that might be making Christmas treats.
PEANUT BUTTER BALLS
To make the balls:
1 stick of margarine
2 cups peanut butter
3 cups rice crispies
4 cups confectioners sugar
Mix together and chill for 1 hour.
For the chocolate coating:
1 Large Hershey bar
9 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 a bar of parafin wax
Melt in a double boiler.
Dip balls in chocolate and put on wax paper to cool.
Store in fridge.
