A Little Christmas Party

Today Cooper had a few friends over for a little Christmas party. We did a craft, ate some yummy snacks, played with toys, and had a book exchange. We tried, but it was difficult... well, impossible... to get a group picture. (They did not care that their moms have blogs and scrapbooks to document their Christmas fun on!) I did, however, manage to get a picture of everyone. ;)

I am so thankful for these friends that Cooper and I have become closer with this year. There is something really special about raising kids together. Sharing stories of kids that share the same ages and stages. Getting advise from friends that are in shoes like your own. Seeing that other kids also demonstrate not-so-delightful traits sometimes - like your kids. Hearing other moms admit that they sometimes demonstrate not-so lovely-traits as well. Being inspired by someone that is more patient, more crafty, more organized... than you. Watching your kids learn to share and love and learn with their very own buddies.
