Friday's Cousin Fun

My precious niece, Skyler, and her mommy & daddy are visiting us this weekend. We have had a blast having them here! Yesterday we took the kids to the mall to Build A Bear, and the little ones made animals. A first for both of them. Skyler made a bear - Her parents both went to Baylor, so they all love Baylor Bears! She named her Cristal The Baylor Bear. Cooper made a turtle - Since he was a baby his nickname has been Turtle because of the cutest little turtle face that he makes. (He is kind of making it in this first picture.) He had a hard time deciding on a name... the naming a toy thing is a new concept for him. First he wanted to name him "Turtle"... imagine that, then he thought about "Franklin" like his cousins' pet turtle, then he remembered looking at that turtle with his cousin, Gabe (whom he LOVES and calls "Gade"), and he decided to name his new stuffed friend Gade The Turtle. It was so cute watching Skyler and Cooper go through the process of making their animals and love on them after they were made. They have loved playing with them and sleeping with them today!






After Build A Bear, we went to Rainforst Cafe for dessert. We got the "Volcano" to share. It was really yummy!
